Two people were shot to death early Monday at the Pharaoh Cafe in Sterling, and an arrest has been made: LCSO

STERLING, VA—Two people were shot to death early Monday at the Pharaoh Cafe, a hookah lounge in the 46000 block of Old Ox Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Hassan M. Gailani, 34, of Alexandria, was charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of use of a firearm during the commission of a felony after being caught trying to leave the scene. Police responded to the scene around 1:45 a.m. for a reported shooting, and LCSO sheriff Mike Chapman said Gailani shot the victims inside the lounge, which is open until 4 a.m. "He came to the establishment, went inside and shot the victims." Herndon Teen Curses At Clerk, Gets Arrested: Police

STERLING, VA -- A Herndon teen has been arrested after he allegedly cursed at a store clerk and then ignored the commands of responding police officers in Sterling. Police were called to the 23000 block of Rock Hill Road shortly after 10 p.m. on May 16 to a report of two males in a store cursing at the clerk, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. "One male refused to leave the store and did not comply with deputies' lawful commands," the report states. Police arrested 18-year-old Elvis O. Ayala-Hernandez of Herndon, and charged him with obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. He was released from the Loudoun County Detention Center on an unsecured bond.  Read More
